Forum Tour
Today was our big forum tour. About 50 bikes gathered at our meeting place, and we headed off for a ride to the biker restaurant where i usually do my evening tours to. The ride itself was ok, but far too congested, heh. Our admins did a great job at organizing the route though, and stopping traffic when needed. As always, i took some pictures.

Moto GP Weekend
Last night my brother came around to my place, since we wanted to head off to holland the next morning, to watch the moto gp race. We set off about 8:30am, mainly riding the autobahn. At about 11am we got our tickets, and witnessed not only a humongeous load of bikes at the parking lot, but also super loud and super fast moto 2 and moto gp bikes. The weather was absolutely perfect, and the circuit at assen was absolutely crowded. 140,000 spectators were said to be there. We watched the moto 2 race and parts of the moto gp race from behind a fence on the long return straight. It wasn't the best place to actually view the race, but it was still cool just to be there for the first time. When we left, we were part of the local crowd-pleasing bike mayhem. It was like riding in a group of thousands of bikes, utterly insane. All of the autobahn bridges and exists were loaded with spectators, since the bikes would surely keep riding past there for at least two hours. We finally headed off back to germany, but got a little lost halfway because my brother needed to fuel up desperatly. We took a detour of probably 30km, only to end up on the same road again, where we had just been before. The roads in holland are a total snoozefest. Long, straight, and limited to 100-120km/h. Once we got back into germany we were speeding right away, heh. At one point i had noticed my backpack was vibrating more and more, and after about a km, my brother noticed that it had opened itself, almost the entire way. We pulled over and i zipped it back up. Upon my first roadside inspection i hadn't noticed anything missing, so we continued. We took my normal home route through the countryside, but sadly the traffic was really bad today. All the best corners that i wanted to show my brother had slow car drivers clogging them. After we got back to my town we grabbed some burger king, and my brother decided that he would ride back to hamburg tomorrow, instead of today, and i were to join him for the day. We were both quite beat from the weather and 450km trip. The next day, while i was getting dressed, i had noticed that one of my newer, good t-shirt was missing. Turns out that it did get sucked out of my backpack while we were riding, and neither of us noticed. Sucks, since that was a really cool t-shirt, d'oh!. Once we got dressed then, we headed off to my brothers place, nice and early, having a good autobahn ride, and spending a lovely sunday there. We barbequed in his backyard, watched germany beat england to advance, and i got to see my little niece and play with her. After the game i headed back home, which was quite an exhausting ride. The autobahn from hamburg has a ton of construction areas, and the super slow car drivers were annoying the hell out of me. I also wore far too much clothes, and was sweating quite a bit. After getting home i was happy to have had such a good weekend, which had about 850km distance of bike riding packed into it. I took a load of pictures and some videos for you to check out.

Sunny Rain Ride
Today i skipped watching the moto gp race and went for a ride instead, with a few people from the forum. Our tour went to the west, back to town, and then over to the east. Halfway through that second trip it we got cought in a little rain cloud, and had to find some refuge for a few minutes. It was a nice day, and good way to test my new tires in the rain. I must say that i am really satisfied with them, as they gave me a really safe feeling. I took a few pictures aswell.

Super Beach Day
Today i got up and didn't feel like spending the day infront of the screen, since the weather was so awesome. I decided to take a ride towards the north, about 40km, to a little beach. When i arrived i noticed my friend enno had called. I called him back, while chilling on the beach, and he told me he had just gotten off work, and was goin' for a ride aswell. We decided to meet up halfway, and then head out soemwhere and have a beer. Everything worked out great, and i had a lovely day, being out for about 8 hours in the sunshine and beaches. My new tires are now broken-in, and the extreme riding shall commence. I took a bunch of lovely beach pictures and a couple of my bike.

New Tires!
The other day i asked the mechanic in my local forum if he would supply and install new tires on my bike. He said that wouldn't be a problem, so i went there yesterday and ordered the bridgestone bt45's. This morning i got a call from him saying that they have already arrived. A few hours later i was there and watched him do his work. It took about an hour, but then i was riding on brand new rubber. He also gave me a sweet deal, being 60 euro cheaper than the kawasaki dealership. When i got home i decided to add my custom white text, which took about 2 hours. Once i finished i had the result i was looking for. You can check out all the pictures.

To The Haven And Back At Topspeed
Today i had planned a little tour with enno. After watching the mogo gp race, i set off to meet him. We started riding to the north, with our goal being bremerhaven. It was really hot today, so both of us were sweating and in need of a nice cool down, which came in the form of a nice cold weizen. While at this beachfront restaurant we also had a nice breakfast and enjoyed the sun. After eating we headed over to the atlantic hotel, and took a ride to the observation platform. On the way back, we lost ourselves in the city a bit, but managed to find the autobahn again where enno and i then switched bikes for a bit, since i wanted to find the topspeed of his. After testing my own limits for the first time, i managed to get a solid topspeed of about 255km/h, which is crazy fast!. The bikes accelleration and pull is just in another class compared to mine, and i'm jealous, hehe. The afternoon was a lot of fun, and of course, accompanied by a lot of stylish pictures.

Tour Without A Group
Today i had signed up for the tour a few forum people planned. Before things could get underway though, i had to stop at the bank and get some gas money. When i arrived at the gas station, i saw everyone pull out and leave, while i still had to get gas. Well, long story short, i totally lost them, drove the wrong way, and after an hour and a bit, finally managed to find them all at our destination. On the way back we stopped for some ice cream, and i took a few pictures of our bikes.

Fast Tour With A Sad Twist
Today it was initially supposed to rain, so i just stayed in bed and slept long. When i got up and checked the forum, there was a spontaneous tour planned for 3pm, which meant i had 20 minutes to get ready and get there. I made it just in time, and we headed off for a long, but very fast ride. Everything was great until we headed off on the return tour, when a forum member slipped in a left turn, and throw himself and his bike into the ditch. Luckily he only scratched his helmet and leathers, but also, most of the right side of his bike. Cops came and all that good stuff. He left the bike at the accident spot, by some nice people that were living right there, and then we headed off home, with him on the back of another guys bike. Other then that shitty situation, it was a lovely day. I really like my bike in the turns and twisties, it's awesome stuff. I also took some pictures of buddy's bike, and a few of mine.

Speedy Curvy Tour
Today twelve of us set out for a big race tour. The pace was quite fast, and there were a few mix-ups here and there, but all in all it was a wicked day. Spent 6 hours on my bike riding the twisties, for a total of almost 300km. Only managed to snap a few pictures though.

I decided to visit mom and grandma for the weekend, since i hadn't visited them for over half a year. We had a lot of fun doing stuff. When i left today i took some scenic pictures of the island. Check 'em out.

Heide-Park Sternfahrt
After a long party last night, this morning was our ride to the heide-park. We headed out at around 10am, with me being the tourguide. After a small detour, because i had a brain short-circuit, heh, we also were blessed with a lovely traffic jam, which we evaded through the lovely art of line-riding. After a 2 hour trip we arrived at the park, and saw nothing but motorcycles. We rode the coasters and had a really fun day. After about 5 hours in the park, we headed back home. This time i took the back of the line. It was a lot more disorganized this time, because there were so many bikes heading back on the autobahn, and we ended up losing two slower riders. All in all it was quite a fun day, and totally free of rain!. Of course i took some pictures of the crazy parking lot.

New Summer Jacket
I headed over to the shop in the neighbouring town today, to buy myself a new summer jacket, for 9 euro!. The jacket was on a 50% sale for 20 euro, and i had 11 euro gathered from my store-points. Gotta say that i'm quite happy about this. On the way home i took some pictures of the worst road i've seen yet. The thing was totally destroyed!. Also some of the jacket of course.

Just For Fun
I went for a ride and practiced wheelies today. I managed to get the front tire off the ground a few times, even though it's quite difficult on my bike. With more practice, i'm sure i'll figure it all out. Before that though, i took some random pictures just for the hell of it.

Lil' Meet
Today i got a call from enno, asking if we wanted to meet up for a little tour. I was really bored, so of course i said yes. We met and then did a little tour back into my town. I tried out his bike for a second, and it sure as hell has a lot of thump behind it, heh. The kind that can make me jealous. I took a few pictures and finally got one of myself on my bike with the new helmet.

Start Up Day
Friday at noon i headed off to visit my brother. I rode 200km autobahn with a few jams and construction areas, which sucked. That night we grilled at his place, and the next morning we headed off to the north, to the first start up day event. We got there and only found a small margin of bikes, and things to do. Strolled around the area for a bit and then took a nice cruise home. Once again we grilled that evening. The next day we headed south to the second start up day. The roads down there were quite cool, and once we got to the event, we were greeted by a huge number of bikes. It was packed. We looked around at the bikes, stunt shows, and people riding the area. After a while we both decided to test-ride a bike. I wanted to grab the triumph daytona 675, but the delay was too long, so i got a suzuki gsx-r 600 instead. My brother took a harley 1300 for a spin. It was an hour wait, but then we both got to ride the course, and had a blast. This opened my eyes even more, that i really want a sport bike. The seating position is totally different, but with the right clothes, exactly what i yearn for. After all that we rode back home to his place, and then i chilled for about an hour, heading home afterwards. The ride back was ok, except that i got in a huge traffic jam and was stuck, motor off, for about 30min. It was a great weekend though, and i had a lot of fun. I also took a bunch of pictures and made a few videos.

I just went and grabbed myself another two ninja stickers, and put my ninjoolz logo on the back of my helmet. It's the exact same sticker and design from the one on my bike. Check the pictures of my customized look!.

New Helmet And Training
Today the plan was to meet up with enno in bremen, and then go shopping at louis for a new helmet. Enno had to buy the works for himself, so we took our time and got stuff that fit. After trying on my scorpion helmet, i reccomended the 450 to him, and he followed my advice. We both then hopped on my bike and took a stroll to the docks, where there was a nice place to chill, and a nice little parking lot for enno to practice riding. He's had his license for 8 years, but never owned a bike, or ridden one really, so i let him try mine so he can get the hang of it, since he does own one now. He really enjoyed himself, judging by the smile on his face. Both of us were really pleased with our helmet purchase, and he also with the rest of his gear. As for my helmet, i got the scorpion exo 750, with a dark black, and blue mirrored visor. Right now my head is a bit itchy, as i still need to get used to it, but overall i was very impressed sofar. Exactly what i had hoped for. Monday i'm going to have to get myself a few ninja stickers, so that i can add my logo to the back of it. I took a bunch of pictures of my bike, enno riding, the scenery, and of course my helmet. There's also two videos of enno.

Wednesday's Ride
Today the weather was quite lovely, so i enjoyed my morning and then went for a nice tour at around 3pm. I rode about 80km of roads i didn't know, and it was lovely!. Once i got home, i noticed that a few of the 33hp riders were wanting to meet in about 20 minutes, so i decided to meet up with them and go for another little ride. Spent nearly 6 hours on the bike, and had a blast!. The three of us went up north to visit a small beach, which i had planned to visit sometime in the summer anyways. Now i know the way. I took some nice pictures of our bikes and the beach, including a lovely setting sun.

A Slower Tour
I spontaneously decided to go with a few people to the festival place again, because from there i wanted to keep going to another town, to visit this dealership. It was quite cold and windy, so the autobahn ride was quite annoying as i had a slight headache, but at least i was out and about. I also took some pictures again.

Festival Tour
Today we took a tour to the festival in a nearby town. There was a lot of bikers visiting and nice to see, but pretty boring to be honest. We strolled around the place for a bit and then headed off again, to continue our ride. I rode over 215km today. Only bad thing is that i seriously can not keep up with the 600cc+ bikes. I think i'm going to take a break from that, because it's just so difficult and saddening. I did manage to take some pictures though.

Sunday aka Rainday
As planned, lots of people gathered at the spot, considering the weather was constantly swtiching between sun and rain. Just as everyone was about to leave, we got blasted with a hail shower, which posponed the departure by a little while. Once we did get on the road, it was a wet, but decent ride. A nonstop tour, not as long as the other ones, right back to mcdonalds for a snack. After that we took a group photo and everyone headed their own way. I was dressed in all my rain gear, so it didn't bother me too much, and i had a good time. I took some pictures which you can take a look at.

And Again
Today the weather was cloudy but decent, so a few of us decided to go for a ride. We were 7 people and rode the same tour as yesterday, just a bit faster, heh. It as a lot of fun, except for the fact that on the return tour everyone passed me when i was riding at topspeed, 180km/h. But that's expected, as they all have bigger machines. In the turns and country roads i was keeping up quite nicely. More of these spontaneous tours are sure to come!.

Season Opener
Originally it was scheduled for this sunday, but since the weather will likely suck, a lot of people spontanously decided to take part in todays tour. At the gathering point were already quite a few people when i arrived, but more followed soon after. The tour started with around 20 people and took nice country roads into a smaller town, which i had never been to before. It was quite cool, and the return tour was even more fun, covering around 160km in total. Looking forward to more this coming summer, although under 10 people is plenty, heh. Go check out the pictures and videos i took.

New Gear
I decided it was time for some new gloves, since mine are almost 6 years old now, and sticky and stinky. While i was at the polo-shop i also decided to grab myself one of those ride-on wheel-rollers, so that i can clean my chain with ease. I will try it out this weekend.

Camera Testing
Today i got a little creative and decided to try out the idea that i have had for a while. I taped my camera's tripod to the best place i could find on the bike, which was right under the windscreen, and mounted my camera onto it, as you can see in the pictures. After a few attempts i had the correct angle for recording, and then took a 23 minute ride. My camera only records 10 minutes per session though, so the video comes in 3 parts. You can check it out in the video section. Good stuff.

An Expensive Mistake
All is well again, except in my bank account, hehe. I got my bike to the shop and had it repaired for a good chunk of cash. It took them a while because they had to fully remove the right side cover to get to the blinker. On a good note though, they replaced the rear left blinker free of charge, because it had started collecting water and broke a few of the led's. Well, i'm just happy the bike is back to normal and rides like it did before. As you can see, i also got creative a while ago and covered my helmet in black tape, which took about 2 hours. It's just temporary until i buy myself a black helmet.

Damn The Ice!
Stupid mistakes happen, we all know that, but mine ended with a loud cracking noise and a frown on my face. It was a dry day, but still a lot of ice on the sidewalks and such. I wanted to head back home after being in town, and when i went to turn from the sidewalk onto the street, my front tire just barely glanced a little patch of ice. Well, the outcome was that i dropped my baby on the right side, broke the blinker holder and bent both the right handlebar and brake lever. Thankfully i didn't crack or break anything else. There are a few scratches on the right side now, but eh, shit happens. I'll fix those up when the weather starts getting decent again.

I bought myself a spoiler bag/tankpack yesterday at the polo shop. I had a coupon for 20% off, so i figured what the hell and grabbed the FLM one for 40 euro. This should ease my back during the long distance riding tremendously.

Hamburg City
Arrived back home today, after heading out east past hamburg on thursday, to visit my brother, sister-in-law, and neice. Took a few pictures from my brothers and my bike, and a few from the soccer game we went to yesterday. The return ride today was great, and all my gear kept me really warm. Looking forward to the next trip.

Topspeed Hunting
Had my 1000km service today. Finally i could go hard on the throttle, which i then did. Topspeed average is about 170km/h, and depending on wind direction, 160/180. Definatly enough for my requirements.

Visiting The Grandparents
Today i was fiending a ride. I had about 3 hours before work, so i decided to head over to a neighbouring town, where i grew up as a kid, and visit my deceased grandma and grandpa for the first time. I've been meaning to visit their grave for over a decade, but just never managed to get there. It felt great and i knew it made them smile aswell. Awesome ride in both directions. Loving it more each day.

Big Tour
My co-worker and i decided to go and visit another co-worker of ours tonight. We left at about 8pm and drove around 55km over to her place. It was a nice ride, and i got to push the bike a bit harder, gathering those kilometers. We headed back home at around 2am, and even though i had my rainbow visor on, it wasn't that bad. Pitch black and doing 100km/h average. Was good fun, and seemed to attract a lot of flies, as you can see in the corresponding pictures. I also tried to do a cool guy pose, which was indeed, quite cool, hehe.
